From 2021 to 2023, I worked with an award-winning executive search and human capital advisory firm based in Calgary, Alberta, called Pekarsky & Co. The firm is now known as Humanis Talent Acquisition & Advisory as of 2024.
As part of my work, I assisted with a complete redesign of the firm's B2B Marketing collateral including proposals, engagement agreements, position descriptions, and other internal documents. Per the firm partners' requests, these documents were drafted on Adobe InDesign with graphics created on Illustrator, with the final copies templated on MS Word for easier usage by all members of the firm. I also assisted with the design of presentations, executive coaching materials and other documents as required.
Proposals
As a full-service firm offering retained executive search services, coaching and leadership advisory services, we were often competing for search mandates with the "Big 5" global recruitment firms. This meant our paper needed to be distinct, personal and compelling, while also showcasing the team's expertise and ability to lead high-profile executive searches.
Position Descriptions
Upon successfully landing a search, P&Co. also creates tailor-made position descriptions to promote the client's job opportunity on multiple channels. This requires extensive research of the target markets as well as recurrent discussions with key decision-makers in the client company, for P&Co.'s goal in this phase of a search is to be an extension of their clients, promoting their company's mission, vision and values and workplace culture.
The Ampersand
Newsletter / Podcast Development
Additionally, I assisted with the creation of promotional material for their monthly newsletter, The Ampersand, and the scripting, production and editing of their bi-weekly podcast, The Ampersand: Unplugged.
Both platforms provided a space for industry leaders and professionals in the Alberta market to discuss important topics surrounding human capital, economy, and the importance of leadership development in their continually changing sectors.
