My name is Juan I. Bidart. I am originally from Concepción, Chile, and immigrated to Canada in 2016. I earned my B.A. in Communications and Media Studies at the University of Calgary, with an additional Diploma of Journalism and Mass Communication at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.

Since then, I have explored every storytelling medium through freelance and contract work, full-time in-house positions, and even successfully leading my own retail brand with my partner for two years. I've also delved into the video game industry, learning to develop interactive media via game engines such as Unity and Unreal, as well as earning a certificate in Narrative Design from ELVTR.

In 2024, I returned to my home country and began a new career path by enrolling in CG Spectrum's Bachelor of 2D Animation, refining my illustration and storytelling skills to apply them within an exciting new industry.
