I’m Juan I. Bidart, a 2D animator based between Chile and Canada. I’m currently completing a Bachelor of 2D Animation at CG Spectrum, with a focus on character performance and visual storytelling.
Before moving into animation, I studied Communications and Media Studies at the University of Calgary and Journalism and Mass Communication at SAIT. My background also includes graphic design, digital media, marketing, and narrative design, giving me a broad foundation in how ideas are shaped and communicated.
My work draws from everyday human behaviour, pop culture, and internet humour. I’m currently developing my professional portfolio while pursuing studio experience and collaborative opportunities as a character animator.
